LESS ADMIN. MORE PLAYING.
Keep your tools.
Lose the busywork.
A spreadsheet, a rules document, a score in a message. The goal is to meet organizers where they already work, then turn it into a league players love following.
Topspin leads 19-7. Wilhitter & Bagel won from a 13-pick deficit.

MESSY IN. CLEAN EXCITEMENT OUT.
The easy scores are easy.
We care about the awkward ones.
Real club play. Real corrections. Real feedback. Doubles partners, makeups and super tiebreaks get the attention they deserve.
We speak spreadsheet.
Merged cells. Three versions of “final.” A roster in one file and scores in another. The mess is the starting point, not a reason to start over.
“final-final-v3” is a perfectly normal cry for help.We speak the game.
A 10-point decider isn’t ten games. A makeup match isn’t automatically this week’s round. A draft upset and an Elo upset aren’t always the same thing.
We can fix the score sheet. Your footwork is between you and your pro.The odd cases matter most.
Duplicate results, missing scores, corrected winners, inactive players and ties. Check the exception, show the issue, keep a correction history. Don’t guess and hope.
If the numbers don’t agree, confidence is not a calculation.Personal feedback. Pointed questions. Useful truths.
Tell us what is confusing, what is wrong, and what takes too many clicks. An organizer shouldn’t need a tutorial to post a score. A player shouldn’t need a tutorial to find it.
Names, not guesswork.
“Dave” might be David Calina. We confirm aliases and missing partners before recording a result. One-click alias merging is planned.
A decider isn’t ten games.
Super-tiebreak points stay out of regulation game stats. Points-only imports remain points-only. Pro sets and injury retirements get a review, not an invented score.
Ringers need their own rules.
Provisional K-factors for temporary substitutes are planned. Today, an unfamiliar player or format needs organizer review before entering the rated ledger.
Corrections leave a receipt.
Recorded edits retain an audit history and rebuild the ratings from the result ledger. Nobody quietly loses 20 points overnight.
The WPRC reference covers the scoring and correction cases. Automated inbox intake is the next step in the pilot.
Bring us your league’s awkward bits1. Send the messy version.
Start with the roster, baseline ratings, rules and results you already have. You shouldn’t have to become a database administrator to run doubles.
2. Review the clean version.
Names need matching. A 10-point decider needs the right scoring rule. Corrections need a traceable history. The commissioner stays in control of official results.
3. Share one league link.
Players see standings, ratings, their personal dossier and the latest dispatch. No app download and no player account creation.
What works today, and what comes next.
The pilot has independent competition storage, scoped administration and a verified WPRC staging port. Automated email, SMS, WhatsApp and GroupMe intake are planned. The animated handoff above demonstrates that future workflow; it does not receive real messages.
