WAIT A/B · 2026-27

Do we have to play a full third set?

Not always. All four players can agree to a 10-point substitute for a normal or early-start match. If the third set begins at or after 1 p.m., the 10-point tiebreak is required.

Rule II.C, p. 4

How does the Coman change of ends work?

Change ends after the first point, then after every four more points: after points 1, 5, 9 and 13, continuing that pattern. The set tiebreak is first to seven, with a two-point margin.

Can a WAIT C player substitute in A/B?

Yes, if she is on the approved substitute list and satisfies the applicable restrictions. Her application and fee must arrive by Monday before the match, and Membership authorization must be received before play.
